This morning I have a quandary.
In my left hand, I hold one of the top Chateauneuf-du-Pape examples from one of the finest vintages of the last 30.
In my right hand, I hold the ability (however scant) to help so many friends, Email List members and colleagues up and down the Eastern Seaboard – many still searching for a direction forward in the aftermath of nature’s deluge.
The only thing to do?
100% of the proceeds from today’s offer will be donated to the regional Red Cross in charge of the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic corridor.
I want to be clear – 100% of the proceeds, not just the profit:
Tanzer’s IWC (Josh Raynolds): “Dark red. Ripe, deeply pitched cherry and black raspberry on the fragrant nose. Then brighter on the palate, with sappy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors picking up spiciness and smokiness with air. Closes sweet and impressively long, leaving notes of allspice and licorice behind. 92-94pts”
Please purchase what you can – it’s certainly for a good cause and you will come away with one of the top “value” priced examples of a vintage that this taster cannot get enough of.

This parcel is directly from the cellar of Jean Royer with the finest provenance available – it will arrive in the late Fall and will ship during the first available window (hopefully prior to the Dec holidays but no guarantees!). Out of state orders will be held for free under ideal storage conditions (56 degrees/70%humidity) until shipping is possible. Locals may pick up at their leisure.

We adhere to these strict policies
Up to 7 days of email invoice receipt: we accept all returns.
7-21 days after email invoice receipt: any invoiced order cancelled will incur a 25% restocking/cancellation fee and this includes pre-arrival orders. After 21 days of receipt of email invoice (not the actual wine): we will accept no returns.
If the wine is flawed/corked then please let us know as soon as possible – we will resolve the issue with your best interest in mind. Flawed wine does not mean “I don’t like it”.
While we do everything in our power to ensure your wine is of the finest stock available in the world, WINE PURCHASED THAT IS OLDER THAN 10 YEARS IS NOT GUARANTEED IN ANY WAY.
